Tribeca - SOLD
For a period of time i was rather fascinated with shell and mother of pearl beads, and i guess the fascination is back with a twist. In fact i've come to notice that abalone shells are one of the few beads that has really interesting shapes to play with. Most gemstones tend to come with rather similar cuts and for a person like me who relies on shapes of materials a lot as a design factor, i'm also beginning to feel a little stifled. So imagine my delight to find such a lovely shape to work with! I've kept it really simple so as not to detract from the high sheen and unique qualities of the abalone shell. Tribeca measures 3.5cm excluding stainless steel earhooks. Wires used are argentium silver.
