Friends & Excitement

Before it totally slips my mind, everytime we head out for an event, we make new friends. So here's some friends that we've made at Cineleisure, Nice-Nice-Gadgets & Lady Kirei. Nice nice gadgets as its name implies sells IT accessories for IPod, PSP, DS Lite and mobile phones. They've also got other accessories such as covers, earphones, etc which is unlike the run of the mill stuff we always get from blogshops. Yet another avenue for guys to shop or something that's gender neutral. Then there's Lady Kirei who sells Japanese and Korean imported clothes, they're really cute and adorable for all those girls who're always dressed to the nines in the latest fashion. A pity I don't wear such stuff, as you'll know when you see me at the events. The good thing is that her stuff aren't preorders, so when you order them you can get them within days (for processing and mailing) rather than weeks. She also personally travels to pick out items overseas and makes her own in house designs! Boy is she talented. So go check them out!!

Also excitement because, I've finally managed to get a bead set off Glass by Sarah. If you don't already know, I'm a huge fan of her works. You should see the beads she produces week after week and I'm really in awe of her talent! Every design is truly unique and such wonderful creations. So which bead set will arrive in Earring Addict's workshop next week you must be wondering. Tadaaa!!!
I love the really bold colors, lines and design! Yum! Can't wait to hold them in my hands. But these beads don't come cheap so prices for designs that include these beads will be pricier. Expect about $60 and above for bracelets and $80 for necklaces. If you're interested you're welcome to email me to 'chope' the beads that you want. By the way the dimensions for these beads are 2.2cm wide and 0.6cm thick. Hehehehehe. *hops around with glee* In the meantime back to school work, I've got assignments to rush (again). Donuts & Bling - Donated to Crafted With Love

Yep wooden donuts with Swarovski hotfix crystals inspired by Mistress of Glam & Adeline of Art of Clay. Those Swarovski studded beauties tempted and taunted me til I could not resist any longer. So I've done my own twist and matched them with clear Swarovski teardrop crystals. The clarity of the crystals are really magnificent considering how you almost can't see them except for the outline, or is it simply my bad photography. Measures 3.5cm excluding gold plated ear hooks, wires used are tarnish resistant, as is for a long time, I just didn't feel the need to clarify time after time. Simple and fun for the weekends!

Donut Frenzy - SOLD

Yes it seems like months after Donut Factory opened at Raffles City, the long queue still hasn't subsided and there are many shops opening to feed onto the fad that Donut Factory started. So here I am on the bandwagon with my own little box of donuts. Donuts in wood donuts on gold plated ear hooks. These yummy donuts are fat free, gluten free, sugar free and are small little ones at 3.5cm wide. That'll make sure they don't do too much damage to our svelte waistlines. Donut charms are more goldish than its bronzey look here. Will try to retake a better shot of it again tomorrow. No remakes.

Claire - SOLD

Thinly sliced moss agate with pretty inclusions for you to admire. You'd notice that both ovals are not exactly the same size as they are packed individually when sold. Each piece even had its own name! Talk about uniqueness and individuality. Gold plated charms of treble clef and a musical note (which i can't remember the name, returned all my music knowledge to my organ teacher at age 7). Measures 2.5cm excluding 14K gold plated earhooks. No remakes.

Lime turquoise with pretty white glass flowers atop the striking 2.5cm wide donuts. Hanging off 14k gold plated earhooks. No remakes. The colors are really striking and would go very well with black, turquoise or fuchsia tops.

Named after another talented lady who makes polymer clay beads, I've matched her tiger print pillows with champagne cubic zirconia teardrops and 14K gold plated filigree and ear hooks. A casual and happy piece, for someone who exudes feminity yet knows how to let her hair down and have fun! Measures approx. 5.5cm excluding 14K gold plated earhooks. Clay pillows measure 2cm from tip to tip at its widest point.

Crazy Days

Yes, the past week passed in a dizzying madness! Thanks for all those who popped by, it's great seeing you babes! Those who've perhaps become new converts, hello! Despite the madness it was a really fun week, both business and personal wise. More madness ensueing after the event, 1 week of backdated accounts to update! New creations! Emails to reply! So do forgive me if i'm a little slow, i'll try to get back to pace soon enough. The next event that we'll be heading to would be Flea Market @ Timbre on the 14th July, so mark that Saturday for us! Eyecandy numero tres, Princess/Queen Fiona in green, although she's big and green, she's no ogre. Her inner beauty shines through those lovely transclucent green agate marquis donuts. Topped with little red glass beads, flowers and crystals. The beauty is in it's details.

Princess Azul

Ooh this pretty little lass keeps tempting me. The blue agate rounds, glass beads and lovely blue karin lentils with 14K gold plated chains and bits, with some accents goldfilled make this little princess another treasure to keep. No more tarnishing!

Earring Addict Goes to Town!

Wheee!!!

My new ring! Love the white enamel and red diamantes! Haha sorry I just had to show it off. Yep, my obsession is actually chunky rings, not earrings, necklaces and bag charms. The chunkier, the more outstanding, the more I love it. Was chatting with a customer over MSN earlier about our common love for chunky rings. Hehehehe. One day I'll go for a class to learn how to make my own silver rings and share my love with you babes! Oh yeah and also the one day i'm gonna sign up for the shooting club with SAFRA and also the annual diving trip, gosh half of 2007 is already gone. Mighty frightening ainnit! Nvm we all have half the remaining 2007 to fulfill our dreams, do the thing we absolutely wanna do and all those other resolutions!

Amelia's great taste sure has rubbed off onto her daughter (or is it the other way round?), sharing similar tastes, just like these 2 earrings. Anasatasia a name of royal origins with a legend behind her name. Apparently she escaped the family massacre because of the diamonds she and her sister wore on themselves deflected the bullets and caused them to ricochet. Of course some people believed she was bayoneted to death, while others believed she committed suicide outside Queen Irene's castle. Who knows? Perhaps some of the sparklies on this pair of earrings will help you escape from death, while the cameo is given a glam do in this instance. Yes, here's another friend who's joined us on the bandwagon of beading. A long time loyal supporter who has joined ranks. May we all celebrate our talents in crafting and creativity in creating original pieces that continue to inspire and prettify the world. Hey I can't say I didn't try can I? Lately the local jewelry blogshop community has been abuzz with originality, copycats, copyright infringement, and yes I agree to what they've all said. I think it's only fair to credit people who've put in hard work into thinking up new creative ideas of wearing your jewelry or making jewelry and there's no excuses for trying to rip off another of their hard work. Perhaps if you've tried creating your own unique design and have someone rip off your ideas claiming it as their own, would you truly understand. But til then I suppose your lazy and pea brained minds are probably only coping with copying.

In the mean time have fun, while I yearn for freedom and some sun.

Karina - No Remakes - SOLD

A tribute to Karin again, this time in the form of this pretty necklace. Her lovely beads strung with sea green jade, Swarovski pearls and carnelian nuggets interspersed with gold plated spacers. Elegantly closed with a dragonfly toggle closure in gold plating. The sea green jade rounds evoke a sense of calmness and really soothes the eyes, along with the swarovski pearls, that adds elegance to the modern beads that are handcrafted individually by Karin. Lovely for work and especially lovely for your mom. I can so picture my mom, who'll carry off this necklace with grace and aplomb. Funny how her daughter never picked up that air of graciousness. =P Necklace strung on beading wire coated with nylon for strength and flexibility, measures 20". Serene is what it's like to be running on the plans without nary a care about what's going on with the world. That is something that I'd really like to be feeling right now, although that's really gonna be tough with the assignments and exams piling sky high. Zebra jasper puff coins matched with petite lil' zebra brass charms. You know how certain things about you, only the people close enough will know, that's how it is with this pair of earrings. First you notice the zebra puff coins, then when you look closer you fall in love with the lil' zebras. Lil' zebras measure 2cm wide, earrings measure 2.5cm excluding 14K gold plated earhooks.
